Join me this spring for a weekend designed to deeply nourish and inspire you.

Come right into the kitchen alongside me on this unique retreat experience as we dive into the vibrant world of plant-based cuisine.

This retreat is hands-on and interactive. Each delicious meal that we share will be made together- that means you’ll be spending your time massaging kale, rolling sushi, gaining curry paste, dunking raw bounty bars into homemade chocolate and so much more!

Learn wholesome breakfast options, simple yet sustaining lunches, delicious dinners that will appeal to all palates plus smoothies, snacks and of course, dessert!

Alongside the cooking (and eating!) we will be joined by Lauren Verona who will be guiding us through yoga classes, meditation, sound healing and yoga nidra to help you full relax and unwind, as well as feel invigorated and enlivened.

Two special events on retreat include a ‘Pinot and Picasso‘ night where we will venture to noosaville for an evening of painting alongside organic wine and vegan cheese! Plus a foodie adventure to the Noosa Farmers Market on Sunday to meet the farmers and enjoy all the local Sunshine Coast delicacies.

The retreat is located on beautiful Hastings street, nestled between pristine beaches and vast National Park. You will have the chance to enjoy free time where you can choose to dip in the ocean, wander amidst nature, get a massage or enjoy some retail therapy.

The Details:

The Food:
Each delectable meal on the retreat will be demonstrated and made with you- the retreat guests- in a fun, informative and interactive environment. Learn wholesome breakfast options, simple yet sustaining lunches, delicious dinners that will appeal to all palates plus smoothies, snacks and of course, dessert!
Meals are 100% plant-based and made with wholefood ingredients. No previous kitchen experience is necessary and rest-assured, Kelly will demonstrate on this retreat will demonstrate just how mouth-watering simple and enlivening plant-based meals can be.

The Yoga:
Balance out your forays in the kitchen with yoga and mindfulness with Lauren. On the first evening you will be treated to a Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing session that will help you slip into retreat mode and prepare you for a blissful and rejuvenating slumber. On Saturday morning you will start the day with a flowing yoga practice designed to wake up your inner vitality and awaken the senses ready for the day ahead. On the Sunday morning there will be an option yoga class by the private pool for anyone who would prefer an extra yoga session instead of the Farmers Market adventure.

Special Events:
There are two wonderful special events throughout the weekend. On Saturday night the group will journey to Noosaville for a “Pinot and Picasso Night”- paint your own masterpiece whilst enjoying organic vegan-friendly wine or local kombucha and tasty vegan cheese and nibbles. On the Sunday morning, venture to the Noosa Farmers Market where you have the chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast, meet some of the stallholders and pick up the ingredients for our final gourmet lunch together.

The Location:
The retreat is held at the luxurious and breathtaking peppers Resort. Nestled between the beach and the National Park, the location is tranquil and secluded whilst only being a hop and skip away from Hastings street. Cocoon yourself in nature and visit the onsite spa and pools, or wander into Hastings street for a coffee, juice, swim or some retail therapy. All rooms at Peppers are comfortable, spacious and designed with your well-being and rejuvenation in mind. We will have a main villa where the cooking and meals will be enjoyed. In this villa there are also 3 beautiful bedrooms to select from. Or you have the option to stay in your own private one bedroom apartment within walking distance to the main villa.

The entire retreat experience is designed to be interactive, enlivening, nourishing and inspiring, with a mix of fun wellness activities as well as free time to allow you to enjoy a massage, take a dip in the ocean, wander through the National Park, or simply lounge by the pool with a good book.

Sample schedule:


7am -8am Yoga & Mediation with Lauren

8am-9am Breakfast cooking workshop followed by shared breakfast

9am – 10am Free time

10am – 1pm Lunch cooking workshop followed by shared lunch


1pm – 3 .30pm Free time (massage, ocean swim, shopping, National Park, therapies, pool time)

3:30pm – 6pm Dinner cooking workshop followed by shared dinner


Friday evening will have Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing with Lauren.
Saturday evening will have a Pinot and Picasso Wine and Paint excursion in Noosa.

Who is this experience for? 

This retreat is for anyone seeking to learn more about plant-based foods, recipes and lifestyle. It is suitable for anyone despite your previous experience with a plant-based diet or with yoga. Lots of information and inspiration will be shared suitable for all levels. This retreat is also for those seeking a healthy, fun and uplifting weekend away with good food, movement, adventure, space and a chance to pause and hit re-set for Spring.

Can I ask questions during the cooking classes?

Yes of course! The small group is specifically so we can work closely together and all questions can be answered.

Is the food all Plant-Based?

Yes and rest assured it will all be satisfying, sustaining and delicious!

What if I have other food sensitivities?

Please let us know in advance and all food sensitivities can be catered to.

Do I have to do the yoga?

Nope! If you just want to do the cooking components that is 100% fine- the yoga is optional, you are more than welcome to sleep in, go for a swim or walk in the National Park, or go and find your morning zen with a cuppa on Hastings Street!

What style of yoga is being taught?

Lauren will be sharing a Vinyasa style of yoga where movement is synchronized with the breath. Lauren is an incredibly experienced yoga teacher and all levels will be carefully catered to.

What is sound healing and yoga Nidra?

Lauren will also be sharing sound healing and yoga Nidra. Sound healing allows you to relax, laying down, and enjoy the healing sound and vibration from several instruments including gongs, drums and crystal singing bowls. Yoga Nidra also allows you to relax, lay down, and be guided through a meditation that inspires deep rest and rejuvenation. It is often refered to as ‘yogic sleep.’

Are all activities optional?

Yes, everything is 100% optional- you can partake as much as you like or pick and choose what you want to do from the schedule. If you are coming along to learn though, we do encourage you to come along to the cooking classes as much as you can!

Do I have to share a room?

No. You will only share a room if you come with someone else! Otherwise you will have a private room or even a private suite if you prefer to yourself.
