One of the things I love about making Bircher Muesli is the endless combinations of flavours. I have made so many different creations over the years- caramelised banana & walnut, strawberries & cream, supergreen bircher, blueberry & hempseed, apple & pecan- your options are endless! I made this version and it was just so delicious I had to share it with you. If you cant find the black tahini, you can also use regular tahini, or your favourite nut butter.
Serves 1 large or 2 small bowls.
ORANGE, CACAO & BLACK TAHINI BIRCHER MUESLI
- 4 cup oats
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon orange zest
- 300 ml almond or coconut milk
Place all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.
1 teaspoon cacao nibs
- 1 teaspoon goji berries
- 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
- Fresh orange and pear thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin seeds
- Drizzle of black tahini
In the morning, to serve, top generously with toppings. Enjoy!
